What Is Chair Yoga?Yoga really is for everyone, regardless of age, ability, or flexibility. But now, during these unprecedented times, it is more important than ever that we take the time to nourish our bodies with not only good food, but great movement too.
Chair Yoga offers some of our more immobile practitioners to carry on a healthy level of movement each week without the heavy risk of having to leave home and mingle in larger groups. |
Chair Yoga adapts and modifies many fantastic yoga poses using the constant support and security of a simple dining chair, allowing those who struggle with imbalance, muscle weakness and fragility to continue, or even begin a practice which may help them in improving strength, stability and flexibility.
During these worrying times, I appreciate that many people do not want to take the unnecessary risks involved in going out into larger groups, or visiting their local gym or leisure centre for their usual classes, and therefore I have launched a weekly Chair Yoga class which will be live streamed online via Zoom.
No need to go out, no need to take the risk! Just stay home, grab a chair and click a button, and I will guide you through a 45 minute practice.
I have also made it possible for people to donate/gift classes to the seniors who wish to attend, whether you know them or not.
You simply purchase a place, and it will be held in a "class bank" until someone wants to join using your donated place.

How Do I Donate A Class?
It is very simple, just donate your chosen amount of classes using the PayPal button below. Option 1 is for one class, option 2 is for two classes and option 3 is for three classes. You can also add any other amount or opt to make this a monthly donation. If there is a person/relative that you would like to purchase the class for, just add their name as a note to the donation. It's that simple. |
