The digestive system is central to how we feel, both on the inside, and on the outside. There are few things worse than feeling bloated, or having stomach cramps, and not really knowing what is causing them or how to prevent them.
Over the 13 years that I have been coaching women in their health and wellbeing, I would guess that around 85+% of then have experienced regular bouts of digestive discomfort.
I have been there too, so know exactly how it feels when then expanding balloon like feeling starts to press against the waist band of your jeans.
But these digestive issues and the prevailing symptoms went beyond just bloating and cramping, with women (including myself) experiencing fatigue, low motivation, brain fog, lack of focus, irritability, heartburn, food cravings and more.
It would be easy to mistake many of these symptoms for perimenopause, and that was exactly what was happening for many. They thought that feeling this way was just a normal part of ageing, and accepted how they felt.
When I first went through the steps that I had put together in this plan, it was never anticipated to become a stand alone online programme, but when I started to experience results, I started to suggest that some of my coaching clients may also benefit from trying them.
After a couple of weeks, they too experienced the same increase in energy, brighter clarity and focus, improved digestion and toileting habits, reduced bloating, and generally feeling better overall.
The Gut Restore was born, and since then, I have been offering the programme to small groups of up to 25 women a few times per year.
